UL Lafayette's Student Union offers 73,000 square feet of rentable space including a ballroom seating up to 1,000, a theater for 250, and 17 additional meeting/event spaces. Centered around our authentic Cypress Lake teaming with alligators, turtles and other wildlife, the Union offers a contemporary feeling with many windows and a sleek design. This allows for the space to easily transform into any design or theme. Our outdoor spaces are the perfect place for a ceremony and reception, social, or even a crawfish boil or seafood dinner. Complementary Wi-Fi, parking, tables and chairs, setup/ teardown of Union tables and chairs provided by Union staff are provided.
